Stay at the Museum
Stay at a folk-art museum featured in the Library of Congress & the Smithsonian Magazine. Popes Museum features old-growth hardwood floors, tongue-n-groove walls & ceilings, artwork on the walls, and a series of sculptures outside.
Stay at the Cottage
Privacy, history and rest are available at the Guesthouse of Popes Museum. This 1 bedroom cottage has a stocked kitchen and bath as well as a sleeper sofa. Walk across the historic gardens for a tour of one of the nation’s oldest folk art museums. *Based upon availability.

This home exceeded our expectations! Michelle and Dan are amazing hosts and felt like old friends. The home is quite interesting with a deep history. Super clean, lot of room with a very comfortable bed. The owners’ passion for preserving its history is very apparent. Very very beautiful grounds. We will be back!
